We are delighted to have worked with My Wedding Dreams again, creating the second version of the fantastic Wedding Planner which saw the first version launched earlier this year. Complete with a PMN Pen to help you fill in the details and information sections. Having talked with 1000’s of brides, The Fabulous Day Wedding Planner has been produced with a practical view to organising your wedding day. It guides you step by step through all the aspects of planning your big day. In the past, tradition tells us that the father of the bride would normally have paid the for the main event with the groom chipping in for the ceremony costs along with things like the bridesmaids and mother of the bride presents and flowers etc. However, today many couples pay for the bulk of the costs themselves with many receiving donations towards the cost of the big day or the honeymoon. This planner suggests when you should start to arrange and book your services as timing is one of the vital keys to getting the big day to run to perfection. Maybe its a big wedding or a small family affair, you must always remember the wedding professionals you hire for the big day will have years of experience and will have been at many weddings before. Towards the end of 2012, there was much talk about the superstition surrounding a year with the unlucky number in it. There are no hard facts as such to enable us to gauge if couples were steering clear of marrying in 2013 and there is a mixed response throughout the wedding industry as a whole. However, for PMN Wedding Fayres, the New Year see us stepping into the Winter Wedding Season with a very busy calendar ahead of us.
Our first fayre in January 2013 was incredibly busy and always has been very popular, particularly after many Christmas & New Year proposals, with many couples excitedly wanting to start the ball rolling planning their special day, looking for fresh ideas, inspiration and of course some professional expert guidance, and that’s exactly what they receive from our huge selection of first class suppliers.
No matter when a couple are intending to marry, attending any of our 24 wedding fayres will also benefit them by being able to see the stunning array of venues first hand and speak to the wedding co-ordinators who can not only show them around but also answer any questions. Giveaways – We are currently working with some well-known selected suppliers to bring you some top prize giveaways at many of our fayres, so keep an eye on our News for these exciting addtions! Although we already work very closely with County Wedding Magazines, who not only provide us with their wedding magazines to give to our Brides complimentary, but they also offer a chance to win a variety of fabulous prize-giveaways by completing an entry form at our fayres. Several of our Hair & Beauty suppliers also hand out free samples and complimentary cosmetics, as well as cake makers providing samples, sweet-carts, caterers and various other exhibitors who want to show you just how good their products and services are.
Sponsorship – Not only do we already use local and national radio to promote our wedding fayres (listen out for the familiar wedding bellsjingles a week prior to each fayre!) But we are also the proud sponsors of Rick Jackson’s Blushing Brides feature on Wave 105 from March 2013, on Saturday Mornings. Rick calls a Bride-To-Be live on the radio, usually mid-having her hair and make-up done,then all of a sudden she’s on the South’s biggest radio station telling everyone about her big day and her fabulous fella!
