When we created PMN Wedding Fayres in July 2008, we had a vision of providing local Wedding Suppliers as well as visiting Wedding-Planning-Couples, with a fantastic experience; with more variety of suppliers to see, fashion shows where appropriate, but all importantly – held at Prestigious, Establish or Iconic Wedding Venues. It’s important that our fayres take place somewhere where couples may ultimately like to hold their actual wedding and/or reception, giving them the opportunity to explore it’s suites & facilities, whilst planning the exciting and special elements of their day too (there’s nothing nicer than piecing it all together, in a beautiful hotel or establishment that could possibly become your own wedding venue!)…
Equally, for couples who have already sourced their venue and other important factors, our wedding fayres provide numerous ideas and inspiration for all the other elements they may require; flowers, cakes, photography, videography, venue décor & styling, jewellery, transport, menswear, wedding dresses, health & beauty…we even have Owls & Helicopters at some of our fayres too!
Not to mention we like to provide our visiting couples with as much information and materials as possible for them to read and look through, so our Deluxe Wedding Gift Bags are in high demand at our fayres – worth over £10 each and packed with the very latest editions of many top wedding magazines and more, you won’t find anything else quite like them.
As a husband & wife team ourselves, having spent some 30+ years within the wedding industry and having attended hundreds of Wedding Fayres personally, we knew that we could provide the best wedding fayres; 10 years on and our portfolio of prestigious venues has increased dramatically, and we have now established ourselves as Award Winning Wedding Fayre Organizers across the South Coast.
We have 25+ Wedding Fayres in our Annual Calendar, across much of the South, providing a fantastic choice of suppliers & businesses at what we consider to be some of the very best wedding venues available. We pride ourselves on our commitment to our venues, exhibitors and customers alike; whether you are a potential Exhibitor or a Visitor to our Fayres, we know that we have what it takes to make your business grow and your wedding plans become a reality.
By providing as much choice & variety as possible to our visiting couples, you can control your ‘wedding budget’; no two florists, cake makers or photographers etc are the same (and no two weddings are the same!) as everyone has a different style or price to suit. With the vast amount of wedding professionals that attend our wedding fayres, you can find just the right ones to suit you personally – after all they will become an important part of your day, so it’s particularly important that you have a great selection to choose from.
When you arrive at one of our Wedding Fayres you will initially be greeted by a variety of wedding transport at the approach to the venue. Once inside you will see a fantastic selection of exhibitors displaying; wedding dresses, grooms attire, photography, flowers, cakes, stationery, venue decor & styling, chair covers and so much more. With such a diverse selection of between 35 to 90 (sometimes 100 at our largest fayres!) first class suppliers at every PMN Wedding Fayre, we know that you will make all the right decisions for your special day.
Upon entry, for a small admission *fee of just £2.00per person – unless otherwise stated (*Under 18’s FREE) our couple receive a complimentary Deluxe Wedding Gift Bag. With all the planning, preparation and thought that you put into ‘the best day of your life’, we make sure that you will find a diverse array of established and new wedding businesses, to provide you with the widest choices, helping to make your decisions a little easier.
Working with such a vast selection of Wedding Venues we are even able to offer some fayres that have outdoor or external exhibitors, i.e. A hog roast or BBQ on the rear lawn, mobile bar(s), ice cream carts, or external venue caterers where you can sample their produce too, whilst listening to the live music from some of our many fabulous live acts and entertainers. At other selected venues we also hold professionally choreographed Fashion Shows, where you can see a stunning selection of the very latest Bridal Gowns, Bridesmaids Dresses and Mother of the Bride outfits and not forgetting the chaps too ~ Grooms Attire…
There’s often understandable confusion for couples just venturing on their wedding-planning-journey with the types of events you can attend, so we’d like to explain the difference (then you’ll see why are fayres are the best!)
Wedding Fayres; Unfortunately we can’t speak for all – but a ‘Wedding Fayre’ (not Fair!) should have a variety of suppliers – more than 30 hopefully – showcasing their wedding related businesses within a lovely wedding venue (although some are in halls, centers and even hangers?!) It’s about seeing as many ideas as possible and meeting suppliers whom you might choose for your special day. We limit the amount per category, so if for example the fayre has a total of 50 exhibitors, we will have a maximum of 5 per category – as the last thing we want our couples to do is to walk into a fayre where there are hardly any types of supplier they may have hoped to see.
Wedding Open Day/Evening; This is usually completely down to a Venue/Hotel opening it’s doors to everyone to come along and have a look at their wedding facilities. Usually there may be a handful of wedding suppliers who regularly work with the venue, or who are recommended by them, also displaying their services. Predominantly though, the venue will have set up their rooms or suites to give you the opportunity to see what the venue looks like set and dressed for a wedding ceremony and/or reception. So a great way to envisage what you might be looking for…
Wedding Showcase; There’s little difference to a venues’ Wedding Open Day/Evening’ as it usually the venue bringing in it’s own suppliers to enhance the open day…
We hope this helps! Please see our Wedding Fayres page for individual details of which particular venues have Fashion Shows and/or outdoor exhibitors. All of our Fayres open at *11am to 3pm (unless otherwise stated) and are only £2.00per person entry, Under 18’s FREE (*unless otherwise stated on our advertising literature/website). So come along and enjoy the experience of a PMN Wedding Fayre. Please check before travelling to any of our wedding fayres, that the event has not been cancelled or postponed for any reason beyond our control
The many Wedding Venues that we work alongside secure and booked their preferred dates with us, over a year in advance; date continuity is key and based upon the revenue we bring to venues at our fayres, they are keen to repeat this, often twice a year in the prime months. Our association, reputations and more are very important to us and its equally important to select the right date for the event, there’s much to consider such as clashing with similar events (suppliers can’t attend them all, and without suppliers we don’t have a wedding fayre!) as well as any other events that could cause disruption, such as a road race? There’s an awful lot to consider and ideally we like a minimum of 6 months to market one of our fayres, gaining supplier interest and of course visitor interest – to try and squeeze in a fayre or rush to fit one in our calendar would not allow it to be as successful as it could and should be…
We need to promote the event and venue from the moment we sign-up to work together, continually, and all details are seen in our variety of literature and publications that we feature within, as well as displayed at all of our fayres that we hold. Our reputation for significant footfall to our fayres is gained because of how much we market and promote, and how much we spend on doing so – our venues and suppliers recognise this, hence why we continue to work together and are regularly approached by venues across the country, hoping that we can assist them in reaching and exceeding their wedding revenue targets.
Producing a Wedding Fayre for and with your venue alleviates all of the associated tasks (& headaches!) from your staff & resources, not to mention that we inject over £3,000 marketing each and every one of our fayres, a budget that many venues don’t have available (nor other wedding fayre/fair organisers) Your venue name will be heard across the South’s leading Radio Station – Capital FM, daily, several times a day in fact, as our Radio advertising campaigns are huge and our USP.
We take on the entire task from sourcing suppliers, floor plans, health & safety elements, set-up, equipment, *fashion shows, and everything required to make the event a success for everyone – the venue receiving leads & bookings, the attending suppliers receiving much business also, and the visiting couples a great day planning their Wedding.
There’s far too much to detail here but if you are a venue who are keen to have a PMN Wedding Fayre, we need to plan ahead so please contact us to discuss your venue and it’s facilities, with a view to meeting with you as soon as possible; email us directly at [email protected] or use our Contact Page if you prefer. We hope to work with you in the future
