So when we created PMN Wedding Fayres back in July 2008, we had a vision of providing local Wedding Businesses, as well as visiting Wedding-Planning-Couples, with a great experience; with more variety of suppliers to see, fashion shows where appropriate, and held at Prestigious, Establish or Iconic Wedding Venues. Our fayres usually take place where couples may ultimately like to have their actual wedding, providing the opportunity to explore suites & facilities, whilst planning the exciting and special elements of their day at the same time (there’s nothing nicer than piecing it all together, in a beautiful hotel or establishment that could possibly become your own wedding venue!)…
However, it doesn’t matter where or when you’re planning to get married. For couples who have already sourced the perfect place to say “I Do” and other important factors, our Wedding Fayres are there to provide numerous ideas and ample inspiration for all the other essential elements they may require, such as; flowers, cakes, photography, videography, venue décor & styling, jewellery, transport, menswear, wedding dresses, health & beauty…we even have Owls & Helicopters at some of our fayres!

When you arrive at one of our PMN Wedding Fayres you will initially be greeted by a variety of wedding transport, mobile bars & other external displays, at the approach to the venue. Once inside you will see a selection of exhibitors from all categories, throughout various rooms & suites; wedding dresses, grooms attire, photography, flowers, cakes, stationery, venue decor & styling, chair covers and so much more. With such a diverse selection of anything from 35 to 90 (sometimes 100 at our largest fayres!) top wedding businesses at every PMN Wedding Fayre, we know that you will make all the right choices for your special day.

At our well-organized, reputable, variety-filled Wedding Fayres, you will find many of your potential wedding suppliers; they are experts in what they do and can provide you with invaluable guidance and advice. Feel free to sample their produce or services too; taste the chocolate fountain, sit in your dream wedding car and try on fantastic bridal gown. With all the planning, preparation and thought that you put into ‘the best day of your life’, we make sure that you will find a diverse array of established and new wedding businesses, to provide you with the widest choices, helping to make your decisions a little easier.
Working with such a vast selection of Wedding Venues we are even able to offer some fayres that have outdoor or external exhibitors, i.e. A hog roast or BBQ on the rear lawn, mobile bar(s), ice cream carts, or external venue caterers where you can sample their produce too, whilst listening to the live music from some of our many fabulous live acts and entertainers. At other selected venues we also hold professionally choreographed Fashion Shows, where you can see a stunning selection of the very latest Bridal Gowns, Bridesmaids Dresses and Mother of the Bride outfits and not forgetting the chaps too ~ Grooms Attire…
There’s often understandable confusion for couples just venturing on their wedding-planning-journey with the types of events you can attend, so we’d like to explain the difference (then you’ll see why are fayres are the best!)
Wedding Fayres; Unfortunately we can’t speak for all – but a ‘Wedding Fayre’ (not Fair!) should have a variety of suppliers – more than 30 hopefully – showcasing their wedding related businesses within a lovely wedding venue (although some are in halls, centers and even hangers?!) It’s about seeing as many ideas as possible and meeting suppliers whom you might choose for your special day. We limit the amount per category, so if for example the fayre has a total of 50 exhibitors, we will have a maximum of 5 per category – as the last thing we want our couples to do is to walk into a fayre where there are hardly any types of supplier they may have hoped to see.
Wedding Open Day/Evening; This is usually completely down to a Venue/Hotel opening it’s doors to everyone to come along and have a look at their wedding facilities. Usually there may be a handful of wedding suppliers who regularly work with the venue, or who are recommended by them, also displaying their services. Predominantly though, the venue will have set up their rooms or suites to give you the opportunity to see what the venue looks like set and dressed for a wedding ceremony and/or reception. So a great way to envisage what you might be looking for…
Wedding Showcase; There’s little difference to a venues’ Wedding Open Day/Evening’ as it usually the venue bringing in it’s own suppliers to enhance the open day…

The many Wedding Venues that we work alongside secure and book their preferred fayre dates with us, over a year in advance. Date continuity is key and based upon the revenue we bring to venues at our fayres, they are keen to repeat this, often twice a year in the prime months.
Our association and reputations are very important to us and its equally important to select the right date for the event; there’s much to consider such as clashing with similar events (suppliers can’t attend them all, and without suppliers we don’t have a wedding fayre!) as well as any other events that could cause disruption, such as a road race?
There’s an awful lot to consider and ideally, we like a minimum of 6 months to market a fayre, gaining supplier interest and of course visitor interest – to try and squeeze in a fayre or rush to fit one in our calendar would not allow it to be as successful as it could and should be…
We need to promote the event and venue from the moment we opt to work together, continually, and all details are seen in our variety of literature and publications that we feature within, as well as displayed at all our fayres that we hold. Our reputation for significant footfall to our fayres is gained because of how much we market and promote, and how much we spend on doing so – our venues and suppliers recognise this, hence why we continue to work together and are regularly approached by venues across the country, hoping that we can assist them in reaching and exceeding their wedding revenue targets.
Producing a Wedding Fayre for and with your venue alleviates all the associated tasks (& headaches!) from your staff & resources, not to mention that we inject a £3,000 marketing budget, a budget that many venues don’t have available (nor other wedding fayre/fair organisers)
