Sunday 11th May see’s us back at The Royal Marine’s Museum, Southsea – the venue where our final 2013 wedding fayre took place, after 24 fayres during that year, it was a delightful venue to see the closure to the year….
We’ve blinked and here we are nearly half a year later(!) and our first Spring fayre at this spectacular venue is only a couple of weeks away now.
The Museum was formerly one of the finest officer’s messes in Britain and has sweeping stairways, opulent decor, priceless silver and a spectacular coastal location. It also provides a magnificent venue for a wedding and a superb backdrop for photographs. The impressive building affords a wide range of function rooms also; The magnificent and spacious Mountbatten Room is the obvious choice for a large celebration, whilst the refined elegance of the Minstrel’s Gallery, Medal or Band Room is ideal for more intimate gatherings.
Literally a hop along the coast a week later and we are back in the hub of bustling Brighton at the iconic ‘ The Grand‘. Having recently undergone a major refurbishment program throughout, standing proud on the Brighton promenade, gazing out across the sea, The Grand has an allure all of its own – Victorian splendour, breath-taking sea views, sumptuous service and decadent cuisine.
