Sunday 9th November 2014 saw us host our finale fayre of the year, at a new venue within our Portfolio – The Ageas Bowl.
25 wedding fayres throughout the year filled with a fantastic selection of wedding suppliers from every category, has provided many wedding-planning-couples with an abundance of ideas, inspiration, advise and expertise…
As seems to have been the case throughout this year; we’ve been fortunate to have fabulous weather generally, right up until this very last fayre – in fact we’ve only experienced the odd shower at any point, so fingers crossed, next year is not cursed with rain, snow or worse!However, come rain or shine, our fayres carry on – that’s the determination of ourselves, the fabulous venues & our fantastic suppliers, not wishing to let our Brides & Grooms down.
It’s been another fantastic year and we feel privileged and proud to have connected thousands of Brides (or should we say ‘couples’, as the boys do seem to have a bit of a say in the big day!?) with hundreds of top wedding professionals, at our prestigious fayres, held within some of the South Coast’s Premier Wedding Venues.
We also celebrated our 100th wedding fayre this year, and it was a spectacular day – it’s taken a few years to be able to say that we have had virtually every method of wedding transport on display at our fayres since 2008 when we started, giving our couples plenty of choice – but our 100th fayre saw our first Helicopter! Becoming increasingly popular as a method of travel for couples to arrive in style at their venue, we were treated to our own little birds eye trip which certainly made our 100th fayre all the more special.
On the very same day, we also launch www.theweddingplans.co.uk, our new arm of PMN Wedding Fayres Ltd; Prior to launching ‘TWP’, we researched for some years what’s available (or not!) to couples and developed The Wedding Plans as an easy to use, interactive, on-line Wedding Planning Resource; within just a few clicks of signing up for Free, all of the top suppliers from across the southern counties can be seen – with detailed profiles and information, allowing one simple email to request further details from as many as required. Many of our suppliers list offers and special discounts and deals for contacting them via The Wedding Plans, so the more you use, the more you can save on all of your wedding essentials!
Throughout the year we’ve given away everything; from bottles of bubbly, cash, Wedding Photography Packages, to a week in a French Farmhouse, and there’s set to be even more next year – that’s on top of our very popular Free Bridal Bags, which are renowned for being packed with the very latest wedding publications, and any other freebies we can get our mits on to pass onto our Brides!
Next year kicks off with a bang at the iconic and unique wedding venue – the Spinnaker Tower, where we will be launching our biggest prize to date – watch this space for more details in the next few weeks, but lets just say we’ve teamed up with the luxurious 5* Grand Hotel Excelsior Malta and you won’t believe what couples visiting our fayres, and entering the competition throughout every fayre in 2015 could WIN!!!!
Although we may not be hosting any fayres between now and January – we use this ‘focus on the festive period‘ time, whilst couples aren’t necessarily focusing on their wedding plans (more so Christmas like the rest of us!) to prepare for a busy start to the year as of Sunday 11th January 2015 at The Spinnaker Tower. The early part of the year can see some of the busiest wedding fayres with many newly engaged couples who have announced their engagements over Christmas & New Year, starting to look for many of their wedding essentials. No matter what year you’re planning to get married, it’s never to early to get planning & booking those crucial element like; Venue, Dress, Honeymoon! With most of us leading busy lives, taking a couples of hours out on a Sunday to attend a PMN Wedding Fayre is an ideal way to get ideas and inspiration – it doesn’t matter of you don’t even know where or when you want to get married, by chatting to our expert Exhibitors, you’ll receive great advise and the Venues Wedding Coordinators can offer guided tours and detailed information for you to consider which venue might just be right for your special day…
